Evenly (“we”, “us”) is a household budgeting and planning tool. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it short and plain, because your money should feel calm, not confusing.
What we collect
- Account details — your email and an encrypted (hashed) password.
- The figures you enter — budgets, bills, goals, and net-worth values you add to plan your household finances.
- Basic usage data — anonymous analytics to understand which features help, so we can improve them.
What we don't do
- We never sell your personal or financial data.
- Evenly is not a bank and does not move, hold, or transfer any money. It only calculates figures for you to act on yourselves.
- We do not access your bank account unless you explicitly connect one via a regulated open-banking provider (an optional, opt-in feature).
How your data is stored
Your data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Supabase, hosted in the EU/UK). Access is limited to your own household. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Advertising & cookies
Some public pages (such as our free tools) may show ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve relevant ads. You can control ad personalisation via Google’s Ads Settings. We do not share the financial figures inside your account with advertisers.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. If you delete your account, your household data is removed.
